The Loon Royal Gel floatant adds a little shimmer to flies. It is silicone based and won't leave any slick on the surface and adds an iridescent reflection that mimics clear wings. It is temperature stable and won't leave residue on the water. It is also safe for the environment.

Directions for use:
Prior to first cast, apply desired amount of Royal Gel to fly. Use fingers to work Royal Gel into hair and hackle. If fly becomes waterlogged, use powder desiccant to dry, then reapply. Reapply when needed.

I had a fabulous lesson with Jordan from Rocky Mountain Fly Shop. We went out on the water and he tailored the lesson to my experience and skill level. We touched on casting, fly selection and an introduction to reading water. It was all hands on and I walked away with the confidence to try new things this summer. It was a perfect morning and I'll definitely do it again.
