The Norvise Friction Nut was introduced about 15 years ago to extend the versatility of the vise. Typically used to hold the vise in position or to lock the vise when tying, the friction nut has proven to be a versatile piece of equipment for the Norvise. Because you can completely detach the nut from the vise, it is also a part that seems to get lost quite often. I had a fabulous lesson with Jordan from Rocky Mountain Fly Shop. We went out on the water and he tailored the lesson to my experience and skill level. We touched on casting, fly selection and an introduction to reading water. It was all hands on and I walked away with the confidence to try new things this summer. It was a perfect morning and I'll definitely do it again.
